Ingredients · for 4 servings
1 octopus (approx. 1.5 kg)
1 onion
2 bay leaves
150 ml olive oil
3 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tsp oregano
2 lemons
Coarse sea salt
Pepper
Instructions
- Cook the octopus with the onion and bay leaves, covered and without water, for 50 minutes in its own juices.
- Let it cool and separate the tentacles.
- Marinate for 30 minutes in olive oil, vinegar and oregano.
- Grill for 3 minutes per side over very high heat until charred marks appear.
- Serve with lemon, coarse salt and olive oil.
