Ingredients · for 4 servings
- 800 g fresh anchovies, gutted
- 150 g durum wheat flour
- Olive oil for frying
- Coarse sea salt
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Wash the anchovies and pat them thoroughly dry.
- Turn them in the flour and shake off the excess.
- Deep-fry in batches in hot oil for 2 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Season with salt and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
