Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to the boil with the sugar, salt and the scraped-out vanilla seeds.
  2. Trickle in the semolina while stirring constantly.
  3. Let it swell over gentle heat for 5 minutes, stirring all the while.
  4. Stir in the butter.
  5. Spoon into bowls and serve with cinnamon sugar or compote.
