- 6 onions
- 1 l beef or vegetable broth
- White wine
- Baguette
- 150 g Gruyère
- Butter
Instructions
- Caramelize the onion rings deeply golden in butter for 25 min.
- Deglaze with white wine, pour in broth, simmer for 20 min.
- Ladle the soup into bowls, top with toasted baguette.
- Sprinkle with Gruyère and broil until gratinated.
