Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar until very foamy, then fold in the flour, cocoa and butter.
  2. Bake at 180 °C for 30 minutes, let cool and cut into three layers.
  3. Thicken the cherry juice with cornstarch, add the cherries and let cool.
  4. Soak the layers with kirsch and whip the cream until stiff.
  5. Layer cherries and cream alternately, coat the cake and cover it with chocolate shavings.
