Ingredients · for 4 servings
4 mixed peppers
2 onions
3 tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
6 tbsp olive oil
1 bunch basil
Oregano
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
- Cut the peppers into wide strips and the onions into rings.
- Sweat the onions in olive oil for 8 minutes until translucent.
- Add the peppers and braise over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the peeled diced tomatoes and garlic, season with salt and braise covered for 20 minutes.
- Season with vinegar, oregano and pepper and serve with basil.
