Ingredients · for 4 servings
8 thick slices of brioche or white bread
4 eggs
400 ml milk
60 g sugar
1 vanilla pod
60 g butter
Icing sugar
Cinnamon
Instructions
- Whisk the eggs with milk, sugar and the scraped-out vanilla seeds.
- Soak the bread slices in the mixture for 1 minute per side.
- Let the butter foam up in the pan.
- Fry the slices for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Dust with icing sugar and cinnamon and serve immediately.
