Instructions

  1. Coarsely grind the walnuts and mix with the crumbs, cinnamon, cloves and baking powder.
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar until very fluffy, then drizzle in the oil.
  3. Fold in the nut mixture and pour into a greased tin.
  4. Bake at 180 °C for 40 minutes and leave to cool.
  5. Boil a syrup from sugar, water and lemon and pour it hot over the cold cake.
