Ingredients · for 4 servings
8 matjes herring fillets
2 tart apples
2 onions
1 cucumber
250 g sour cream
150 g yoghurt
1 tsp sugar
Pepper
Dill
Instructions
- Soak the matjes fillets in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Cut the apples, onions and cucumber into fine strips.
- Stir the sour cream together with the yoghurt, sugar and pepper.
- Fold everything together gently and chill for at least 3 hours.
- Sprinkle with dill and serve with boiled potatoes.
