- 16 fresh sardines
- Coarse sea salt
Olive oil- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Wash the sardines, leave them ungutted and pat them thoroughly dry.
- Rub them generously with coarse sea salt.
- Thread onto skewers and grill over hot embers for 3–4 minutes per side until the skin blisters.
- Drizzle with olive oil and serve with lemon.
