Ingredients · for 2 servings
300 g yakisoba or Chinese-style noodles
250 g chicken breast
300 g pointed cabbage
1 carrot
1 onion
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp oil
pickled red ginger (optional)
1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ketchup and sugar into a yakisoba sauce.
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, rinse in cold water and drain.
- Cut the chicken into strips and fry in hot oil for 3–4 min.
- Add the onion strips, carrot sticks and cabbage strips and stir-fry over high heat for 3 min – the cabbage should keep some bite.
- Add the noodles and fry along for 2 min, until they toast in places.
- Pour in the sauce and toss everything until glossy.
- Serve immediately with sesame seeds and pickled ginger.
