Goulash Soup

Ingredients · for 6 servings
600 g beef goulash
3 onions
2 red peppers
500 g potatoes
2 tbsp paprika powder
1 tbsp tomato paste
1.5 l beef stock
1 tsp caraway seeds
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp oil
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
- Dice the meat and sear it well in oil.
- Add the onions and braise until golden brown.
- Briefly toast the tomato paste and paprika powder, then deglaze immediately with the stock.
- Add the caraway and garlic and simmer gently for 60 minutes.
- Add the diced potatoes and peppers, cook for another 25 minutes and season to taste.
