4 slices toast bread
40 g butter
4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp sugar
1 pinch salt
2 tbsp shredded coconut
Instructions
- Set out the toast bread in the thickest possible slices and take the butter out of the fridge 10 min. beforehand so it's spreadable.
- Beat the butter smooth with a pinch of salt and spread thinly over both sides of the bread slices.
- Preheat a heavy pan without fat over medium heat until a drop of water evaporates instantly.
- Add the slices and toast for 2–3 min. per side until evenly golden brown and crisp at the edges, pressing down once with a spatula.
- Halve the hot slices diagonally, stack on two plates and sprinkle with the sugar and shredded coconut while still steaming.
- Drizzle generously with the sweetened condensed milk in thick threads and serve immediately, before the bread softens.
