Baked Cheese Rolls
Halved rolls topped with grated Gouda, chives and paprika powder, baked golden brown under the broiler.

4 soft rolls
200 g grated cheese (mild, e.g. Gouda)
100 g sour cream
1/2 bunch chives
1 tsp paprika powder
20 g soft butter
Salt, pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C top/bottom heat and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Halve the rolls horizontally and spread the cut sides thinly with the soft butter.
- Beat the sour cream with the paprika powder, salt and pepper until smooth and mix in half of the finely chopped chives.
- Spread the sour cream mixture on the roll halves and pile the grated cheese generously on top, covering the edges too.
- Bake the rolls for 10–12 min. until the cheese has fully melted and browns in bubbles at the edges.
- Sprinkle with the remaining chives and serve immediately, hot, while the cheese still stretches.
